Below we have posted a detailed step by step guide on how to Update Galaxy S4 Mini Duos I9192 to XXUAMF7 Android 4.2.2 Official Firmware. We will be using ODIN to install said firmware on Galaxy S4 Mini Duos I9192.
Note: You will lose root after installing this on your Galaxy S4 Mini Duos I9192 and you need to root your Galaxy S4 Mini Duos I9192 again in order to gain full system access and install root apps. Follow the instructions below to install XXUAMF7 Android 4.2.2:
Download XXUAMF7 Android 4.2.2 for Galaxy S4 Mini Duos I9192 to your computer and extract the zip file.
Download ODIN v3.07 which will help you to install XXUAMF7 Android 4.2.2 on Samsung Galaxy S4 Mini Duos I9192.
Now you will need to boot into Recovery mode. For that Press and hold the Volume Down + Home buttons together, and then press the Power button till you see the Android robot. In ODIN, check the Auto Reboot and F. Reset Time options. As for the “Re-Partition” option, check it ONLY if you selected a .PIT file in the above step.
Now click on the Start button in ODIN. Installation process will start and would take a few minutes to complete.
After the installation is completed, your phone will restart. After you see the home screen, unplug your phone from the computer.
That’s it. You have successfully Updated Galaxy S4 Mini Duos I9192 to XXUAMF7 Android 4.2.2 Official Firmware. To verify, go to “Settings” –> “About” and check the software version there.
